Study Grant

Study grant for one researcher, duration one year, in MAGI’s laboratory (Trentino-Alto Adige/South Tyrol region, Italy)
Who can apply
MAGI Association is offering a study grant for one researcher in medical genetics from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Greece or Croatia. Candidates should have a degree in biological sciences, medicine or biotechnologies. Research doctorates in molecular biology or specialization in clinical biochemistry or medical genetics are preferred.
The candidate will be engaged in research in the field of molecular biology and biochemistry with MAGI. Our laboratory is currently concerned with various research projects, especially genotype-phenotype correlation studies and functional studies in the field of rare genetic diseases.

Conditions and duration
The researcher will work in MAGI’s laboratory in the Trentino-Alto Adige/South Tyrol region. The grant-holder is offered reimbursement of travel expenses, health insurance, board and lodging in a university residence and €700 (before tax) per month. The grant will last one year and can be renewed.
