Marina Tišma
J. J. Strossmayer University of Osijek, Croatia

Marina Tišma was born in 1977. in Slavonski Brod, Croatia. She received her Bachelor's, Master's and PhD degrees in the field of biotechnology at the Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology, University of Zagreb, Croatia. After undergraduation she was working 3.5 years as a chief of the Laboratory for barley and malt quality control in malting factory Slavonija slad Ltd., Nova Gradiška, Croatia. Today she works as Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Food Technology Osijek, University of Osijek where she gives lectures in Chemical and Biochemical Reactors and Industrial ecology. She is also a professor at the Faculty of Agriculture and Food Technology, University of Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina where she gives lectures in Malting and Brewing Technology. Her scientific field of interest is submerged and solid-state cultivation of white-rot fungi with the aim of value-added products production. She was working as a researcher on several national and international scientific projects. Recently, she was a project leader of the project funded by European regional development fund (ERDF) "Development of innovative process of agricultural waste biological treatment in biogas production - ProBioTech".
