Bruno Zelić
University of Zagreb, Croatia

Bruno Zelić was born 1973 in Osijek, Croatia. In 1996 he completed his undergraduate studies in chemical engineering and received his B.S. in chemical engineering from the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology, University of Zagreb. From 2000-2002 he worked as young researcher at Forschungszentrum Jülich, Institute für Biotechnologie. In 2003 he received his PhD in chemical engineering at the University of Zagreb. From 2012 he is full professor of chemical engineering at University of Zagreb. From 2013 he is a dean at Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology, University of Zagreb. From 2005 he is a member of editorial board of “Chemical and Biochemical Engineering Quarterly” journal. He is a member of Croatian Society of Chemical Engineers and Technologists, European Federation of Chemical Engineering, EFCE (from 2015 Executive Board member of EFCE) and Croatian Academy of Engineering. His research interests are in the field of bioreaction engineering, application of microreactors in biotechnology and bioseparation processes. More than 60 scientific and professional publications (41 in journals cited in Web of Science), 2 patent applications, and more than 10 plenary and invited presentations on the international conferences present his scientific work.
